Power supply fans?

I just bought a new Thermaltake Silent Purepower power supply. The problem is, the top of the thing has a fan, which will have about 1/4" clearance in front of it to the top of the case. There is also a fan that vents to the back. I don't want to cut a hole in my case to accomodate the top fan. Is there a problem with this, ya think? The case does have an exhaust fan in the middle of the top panel...

That 'top' fan is sucking the air in, right?
Well, it's not the top side but the bottom side of the PSU and should be mounted looking down, inside the case to help the airflow going through the case.

I'd redo the case so it bolts on the correct way. All you probably have to do is re -drill some new holes so you can flip it upside down. Worst case, you might have to cut away some of the existing PS hole so the fan and power plug aren't obstructed...

DOH! You're probably right! I'm at work, so I can't look at it right now. I haven't mounted it yet, but I guess I would have figured that out when I tried!

GEEZ...thanks.
