Don't know why I didn't think of this before but I have a Behringer 1204FX which I don't really need for the studio and am using the MP8 with a couple of 100W, passive speakers for my live gear.
I'd rather use the Behringer for this.
I can't afford active speakers and am not really sure that I want some.
So why not a power amp?
Any suggestions?
There are lots of power amps, Behringer makes several but IMO the Alesis RA300 is hard to beat, quiet enough for a studio and enough power for smallish live gigs for about the same price.
Real work hoese I would say. Once it worked for 10 hours constantly and wes no problem. Very robust device. I never had problems with unwanted distortions with this one. I like this device a lot.
