POWER AMP recommendations

i gotta tell you guys, I did UTFSF and apparently these things aren't discussed in great detail here. So I figured I'd start a thread.

What are you recommendations for a power amp for passive studio monitors? In terms of price, gimme a low-end recommendation, a middle-of-the-road recommendaiton, and your high-end recommendations. What about brands? Samson, Crown, Hafler, etc.?

Personally, I'm more concerned about the low-to-middle category price-wise, but I'm open to any information you could give me... Thanks!

Hafler P series is a great compromise between price and performance

Pioneer SA 9100. Picked mine up for about $200. They're a mid 70's line but you can find em refurbished. Plenty of oomph and I'm getting some pretty good mixes.
