I have heard your stuff here before, and its very good and done well. You are somewhat like me, an outsider in a sea of rock and rollers here :D It's hard to give you any advice, its a different market. I bet you could sell lots of these on Devon ave. in Chicago, there is a "little India" neighborhood with lots of stores selling this type of stuff.

n4eem - I listened to agar tum miljao.....

I am not familiar with this style of music, so I cannot give much of a critique. The auto-tune effect does seem a bit excessive in this song, but again, that may be the norm in this style now.... Other than that the levels of the instruments and vocals seems good and the production is good.....

Are you producing USA or outside USA artists?

Yeh resmi zulfein - This one is produced and arranged very top notch.

You already know my opinion on autotune so I won't bore you with it.

The rest is very very high quality. Very imaginative in the little bings and bongs that you introduce at the proper places.

:)

I have quite a few indian friends, and all of them have their fair share of "indian cd's" From what I've heard, its almost standard to autotune the shit out of the club/dance type stuff. Its more for the effect, rather than correction.

But it sounds good to me, and with this type of music (if youre writing your own music) there are definitely wayyyy less people doing it.. so your chances of "makin it big" are a lot greater than the dime-a-dozen hip hop "producers."

Im in no way familiar with the "behind the scenes" of bollywood, so I cant really give any info in this aspect.... but I say you should do some research on it and see what steps you would have to go through to be able to pitch some of your stuff their way.

I listened to the 1st song. Sounds good. Could do with more bass in my opinion. Its like you have a nice sub bass but not so much in the higher lo end frequencies.
Some good mastering could bring your mix more sparkle. the vox seem fine just the instrumental could do with a bit of sparkle.

The production sounds fine.

The song itself was just too darned predictable. It sounds too much like the genre.

What I think makes a good song is when the song does something I didn't expect it to do, and did it in a way where it left me thinking "That is the way it should have been done!" so to speak. An hint of familiarity, but enough uniqueness so that the artist can call it his/her own.

As the producer, it is your job to give the project it's own unique voice. If you really want people to notice your work, you have to make statements that nobody else is or has made in the genre. Being "last year", no matter how well you do it makes you just another copycat artist.

some excellent feedback and some very good point, keep them coming! thankyou
