Hey everyone!

So about two weeks ago, I posted a song called Hate the Game. While I was recording that, I also recorded this one. It's your standard "rant about the music business working against their end consumers" song.

I'm posting it now, because I figure 1 song a week is probably the most I can hope to post before people start ignoring me (and because otherwise I wouldn't have anything to post today!)

The distorted guitar on the right in the beginning has such a hard distortion that it sounds like its clipping. The synth pad needs to come down a bit. You need a shaker or something, and maybe some claps, there really isnt a defined rhythm section and it feels a bit loose becuase of it. Vocals are okay, but I think they need a good dose of automation and less compression. Personally I think you should double the vox all the way through. I enjoyed it, although it needs some work. Good Job!

I had much more driving, snare-based drums initially, but they were played so poorly that I couldn't really use them. They turned into the heavily-phasered drums.

I'll see what I can do about giving it more of a rhythm section this evening.

It sounds like you are hitting the snare in a way that someone is sleeping in the same room and you don't want to wake them up. Kind of like you are tapping your finger on a paper bag.
