MSI - gt660-003us:
-Looks totally lame, but lights can be turned off. And its a bit bigger than i wanted..(16 instead of 15.6)
-Has two internal hard drive ports.
-pre loaded with 6GB RAM, goes up to 12GB
Some other interesting features though:
1. a button which increases fan speed to full: could be useful for lowering fan speeds while actually tracking, then raising them for all the other intensive stuff to cool the system back down – this seems like a cool option
2. a Button which runs processor at full (or higher) levels. Seems like it may be a good option to have a the touch of a Button....but all seems like it could be dangerous with the system being set up to do such a thing there may be some associated problems with jumping around processor speeds affecting DPC Latency.
Main issue is i do not know if the MSI is well grounded, low noise, and if the DPC latency is bad and/or if it can be optimized...Trying to make a decision between it and the Sager np8690.
