I recently bought a Roland Cube amp and loved it until i think it wasn't even a week or two when i started to notice a change in sound. i blew it off until the built in flanger, part of the chorus and reverb stopped working also. that bothered me alot, but i still kept using what was left of it. it has even gotten worse, now there is alot of static & fuzz.

I wanted to write this because when i got it i wrote how great it was for the price, and it was!!! until it stopped working. i am not sure if this is my fault or thiers, but i don't see how i could've done anything to it.

So just letting people know to possibly beware of this amp unless they are certain the same problems won't happen to them. Other people have said they loved thiers, maybe its just mine. I'm going to call the company and see what they have to say, in the meantime if anyone else has experienced the same problems might as well post about it.

thanks

Sound like you got a damaged one. My guitar player has one and it has taken some serious(SERIOUS) abuse and keeps on kickin'.

Your post is relatively nonjudgmental, but *any* piece of gear can bite, from Avalon to Behringer. How often it happens, and what they do about it- that's how the jury will make its call. First, try to get them to repair or replace the unit, and let us know how that goes. If they screw up, *then* it's OK to bash them.-Richie

Yeah, I can't imagine that it's anything but a fluke.
I've seem lots of reviews on Cubes and off the top of my head I don't remember any other complaints of them breaking down.

Yup, you can get a lemon ANYTHING (I know a guy who paid $300,000 for a Rolls-Royce that was one...)

Always buy music gear from someplace that will honor the warranty and RETURN IT.

....no different than any other electrical appliance you'd buy.....
