possible virus alert

While checking out some MP3 sites the other evening, I was downloading several songs to check out the quality of the sites. Somewhere along the line I picked up a program called "Free Scratch And Win". It even placed an Icon on my taskbar. CRAP!!! What the hell is this???
I couldn't get it off the computer so I went to www.freescratchandwin.com and found the removal program.
Problem solved??? Not quite. It evidently left a worm or something behind that has got into the registry and the only way I can open certain programs is by right clicking and using the EXPLORE button.
I have done all the Norton virus updates and windows updates and so far nothing has helped.
I am still searching for a repair.
I realize that this is more of a post for a computer based board but I thought I'd let you folks know that there is something lurking out there, either on an MP3 site or someone's song post.

My firewall detects an "attack" everytime I access a song on nowhere radio.com.

I had already checked out the links you posted and still nothing was
getting fixed. There were no such files to delete in the registry. However, upon deleting "FSW" in program files, I came across "Xupiter". Deleted it, and all is well. I hope this will help if someone else runs into this nasty business.
I will be installing a firewall this weekend.

Also check out www.sarc.com. They have some fixes for the latest viruses (Klezworm, etc.). The fixes I did are free, easy, and quick.
