My laptop is the best computer recording experience I have ever had. I'm only using 512MB of RAM, just cause I havent needed more yet. If I saturate this one, I'll just buy more, no problem. But my laptop cost me over $2k. I did alot of detailed research for compatibility with Pro Tools and MOTU gear before I bought it. It's the top line Toshiba Satellite. Had it for a year now and its still awesome.
