Thursday or Friday, I will be picking up the following.
iMac G4 (Don't know exactly what specifications yet.. Please Suggest some)
Mackie Onyx 1620
Mackie Universal Control (No Extender Yet)
M-Audio Firewire 410
Korg Triton
MPC 1000
M-Audio Solaris Condenser
Studio Monitors
Turntable
Headphones
Im thinking about dropping the Korg Triton and picking up a Motif. Also, im thinking about dropping the optional firewire card that comes with the mackie, since Im running the mackie through the 410 and won't be running it directly into the computer. So I honestly think thats a waste of $400.00
What are your thoughts on this setup?
and please remember to give me some suggestions on what specs should the iMac G4 have. I will be recording, Rap & R&B , and down the road Live Bands. Then I will purchase more mics and etc.. but thats later..
