Popping sound with the midisynth?

Im using a midi keyboard called Mk-149 by evolution. When using some midi instruments there is a popping/clicking sound made when I play, for instance when using the midisound for hammond-organ. The clicks occur both in n-track and evolution audio, any thoughts what this is?

It could be a number of things-
Levels set too high
Bad drivers
Poor system performance
