Polyurethane foam opinion

Hi guys,
I am located in Japan,and in the process of properly rebuilding my studio
Since auralex is not readily available here,I was wondering what you might think about the following foam

I will be building bass traps myself but these are for the walls...

Can't say without specific test results. If it's open-cell instead of closed-cell, it will do SOMETHING, hard to say what though.

Honestly, mineral wool and DIY'ing some coverings would do a better job for you.

I will be building bass traps myself but these are for the walls...

What are you using for the absorption in these DIY "bass traps", and where are you placing them if not on the walls?
