OK, I know I have sort of asked this before, but this time I need answers quick!

The local POD distributer is having a special on PODs until the end of this month (tomorrow). The special is: buy a POD at full price and get a free FB4 footswitch. OR get a POD without the footswitch for about 20% off. Do the math and the price difference is about 70 bucks. So the footswitch costs around US$70.

What I want to know is if I should get the footswitch or not? Is the POD any good live? Someone mentioned a delay when switching channels from the footswitch. How much of a problem is this?

I need to know by approx 2-3am March 31 (Eastern USA time). HELP.

Get the switch...you will be glad that you got it later !!

well

I orded the POD with the footswitch. Right now they are currently out of stock, but hopefully when I go to the shop to pick it up next wednesdays they will let me try it with the footswitch. So if I'm lucky I can change my order if it doesn't seem to switch channels well (ie. delay between switching, dropouts, noise, etc.)

Hope it's worth the money.

I was recenly in the studio with a Flextone amp run direct out of the head phone out and had no prob with switch delay...The thing that you will want to do is set your program volumes for unity, then you will have no volume drops ....Good Luck
