Plug ins for Cakewalk Home studio 2002?

What free plug ins do you recommend/use? What plug ins are worth purchasing?

I am recording guitar direct from amp/mixer to home studio 2002(/ducks)...this is my only option so I am trying to get a line on some plug ins to fill out the gaps direct recording will leave in my sound and for something that could add some nice texture to multi track guitar recording.

You should also check out Amplitube... :)
