Greetings,
Newbie problems:
I try to mixdown a .sng file to MP3 and get an error “BLADEENC IS NOT INSTALLED” although it is. I have downloaded Benc-0942-win-P4 (for my P4) and Bladeenc-0942-win-i586 (because the error message suggested it) but none of the files (.exe, .cfg, .html, .dll) will open. Instead I get errors saying “WRONG OR OLD FORMAT” and “WINDOWS NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT PROGRAM CREATED THIS FILE”. When I try to find the program in NTRACKS I get errors saying “THIS PROGRAM CAN’T ACCEPT THIS TYPE OF FILE”. Is Bladeenc a plug-in? I have downloaded DX 90 Directshow and DX-VST WRAPPER LITE and these files create the same errors.
But wait … there’s more …
IK multimedia sample tank instrument files won’t open either. Instead I get errors saying WRONG OR OLD FORMAT”. I even downloaded Freeverbtool15..dll which also won’t open unless I know what #*%@$# program created it. I have been unable to open anything in the NTRACKS plug-ins folders.
So much for trying to figure this stuff out on my own. Life is too short. I sure hope somebody here can pull me out of my plug-in hell. Assistance with any or all of these items is greatly appreciated. I tried to get on the Fasoft forum but I got AN ERROR saying there are too many users logged on.
