Pls Help connect powered speakers to mixer

Hi

I have posted this on the newbie forum maybe it was the wrong place. Sorry.

Sorry for the dumb question. I have a Behringer UB1222FX-Pro mixer, power amp and a set of passive speakers. I know how to connect them for rehearsals.

We have a gig where we need to get powered speakers instead, so we do not need to use the power amp.

With just the mixer in use, where do I plug in the powered speakers into the mixer? At the moment, I do not know whether the powered speakers comes with XLR or 1/4 jack plugs. Apart from the mics, my accoustic guitar will go straight into the mixer.

I have checked the user manual but the guide is not clear enough with powered PA speakers.

I also have one powered fold back which I do not know where to plug in too.

powered speakers are the same as passive and amp, just straight from your stereo outs into the speakers, all the amp does is boost the desks output gain up to speaker level,

Active just means amp inside and set up


Set the volume on the speakers to a good working level so that when the desk hits around -10 your getting a full ish loud enough signal (desks signal not o/p level)
