Balanced, unbalanced, about the same...
I think there was a $10 or less difference between the two with the Furmans.
I got all three of mine new for about $130 each 4 years ago. I am sure they are about the same at the same place, if not cheaper. I KNOW that I could have got them much cheaper online.
I NEVER see Furmans used anywhere. The reason is that once you buy them, you don't want to let go of them because they are the ultimate in reliability, which totally fits with the same ol' sonusman rap, "Buy cheap, buy twice".
The Behringer units didn't feel all that solid when I inserted a patch cord into them. I also felt that the frame was too weak to hold up for years to come, and unfortunate trend they have going with their newer gear.
Furman is a great product line overall. They don't make the most expensive stuff out their, but their quality has always been outstanding. I also have their Line Voltage Regulator, which has more or less been turned on constantly for 4 years now, and it still works like the day I bought it. Stable power is nice to have for digital recording....
Buy a Furman and never have to buy again.
