Please Review this mix.. "The Poison Sun"

Just took a listen to your song and I think it's cool. I was unsure of the first 10 seconds or so but it quickly came together. Very different, I like it.
 
That first 10 seconds is pretty disconcerting, but it's cool once you realize the whole song won't be like that. :D

There are a couple spots where it sounds like you had trouble keeping everyone on tempo. Vocals would come in on a wierd part of the beat, etc.

The mix was pretty quiet. You had about 4 dB of space to turn up.

Overall, it was a pretty cool song.
 
Do you mind letting me know what parts are coming off a bit weird?

perhaps I can adjust them?
 
On my speakers, the drums were getting buried at some parts. Wasn't crazy about the snare sound--I assume you mic'ed it on the bottom?

Pretty decent tune though.
 
Ok...

The word "distortion" in the second line sounds a little awkwardly-paced.
Around 0:59. I couldn't make out the lyrics, but I think the two vocals got off of each other for a second.

Upon a closer listen, it might be the snare that's off. A bunch of the hits sound like they're getting cut off.
