OK, I lied:( I just wanted my 1,000th post to be in the Cakewalk forum! U.S.A.!!

Special thanks to AlChuck, Cakewalk advisor to the stars. Al, our project is still on, I just need to get my chops back after being away for so long. I made a rough cut last night,, but being stupid I forgot to save it. I will try again tonight, hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Paul881, I will have my cellist coming over next week, will lay down a few more tracks. Pulu si bugumba ( Ten points if you can tell me what that means).

AlChuck and I are doing a little internet project (like Paul and I). It is a Zappa tune, kinda hard and very cool. We had it done, and my file went corrupt, and being a lazy pro musician I never back anything up, so I have to do the violin parts from scratch. I recorded a few two nights ago and forgot to save them, but they weren't that good anyway.

Violin is weird; if you don't stay on top of your game, you can sound like crap in one day, so I am getting my chops back. It will be worth the wait:cool:
 
I can sound like crap regardless of whether I've been playing a lot or not... :)

I can too, but the "autotune" plug-in really doesnt work on violin that well. Too bad I cant use midi, D'oh!

Just curious, which one?? You must be "really good musicians"
You both have helped me alot, just wondering what tunes you are into.

We are doing a five minute version of King Kong, which I think is from Uncle Meat. Al is a good musician, I am a bum.:D

I sent AlChuck a very rough draft last night, Methinks he likes it;)
It will be very cool when we are done; Nothing fancy, just us jammin with a midi track and doing some solos, but it is starting to shape up. Hopefully we can get something posted soon. I have had an arm injury and some family problems, so hopefully I can get back to business soon and finish up a bunch of stuff I have been wanting to get done. Cheers.
 
David's a good musician but his choice of avatars leaves something to be desired YEEESHH!!!!:eek:

but it's DavidK who's the good musician, and me who's the bum. I coulda been a contender... I coulda had class... instead of bein' a bum, which is what I am, Charlie, a bum.
