"Fly" is epic. The ambient guitar sounds really cool with the piano, not to overpowering, yet maximum shredding. You should try it with real drums, thats my only criticism . I like your writing in the "about" section of your myspace.
 
The lead guitar seems to be buried, it's not easy to hear. But, I don't have monitors and I'm listening through my stereo. "Fly" was good, but the flapping bird sample at the very end made me giggle a bit. Just my opinion, but I'd lose that part, or find a different sample maybe. The current sample sounds a bit cheesy after such a serious song. It also sounds like you're holding back on the vocals, but it sounds great when you're singing the powerful lines.

Fly - nice writing and arranging. Lots of interesting layers to this song. :D
 
Good comments on Fly and for good reasons. I'm listening to the Quickening right now and am thoroughly enjoying it. Your Sting influences definitely shine in this song, you do a very good job. Lots going on and it's easy to slide into the music. Nice ending, too.

thanks for the replies. I have yet to get this stuff mastered. Any suggestions? So, I guess the consensus is that "fly" is the best song?
