Of the mixing/performance/whatever
this myspace link is to recordings I made last year when I was 18
the music could be generic, but I really don't show my music to many people so i would like honest opinions of other home recording engineers

Idk why but I really like it. What you lack is very interesting cause it keeps changing up with the beat haha. What are you using exactly (Mics, guitars, pres, Software) cause i really like your sound. I would like to manipulate what I have to sound a little like yours. From a musician point of view, maybe you can make it sound a little less generic. However, from a fan point of view, it sounds great!
 
The only constructive criticism I can offer (and this may just be a personal preference) is to lower the drums in the mix - the drums are the only thing that sound "generic" to me. Great singing and cool guitar arrangements.

for those recordings the only interface i used was a motu 8pre,
omni dbx overheads, akgD112 on the kick, sm57 snare, e609 rack tom, akg perception 420 on floor. For guitar I actually recorded it through a POD xt, and have been really enojying the recorded sounds I can get from it.
