Please Help!

Alright. We finally finished this master peice on Cool Edit Pro simple edition (the one that doesnt recover or having any effects). The session is been saved, open and reopened several times. then one time we closed COol edit, opened it again and the session was still there, but it contained no Files! The files still exist in the folder it accesed it from, but the session contains none of them. It will be impossible to put everything back together because there are to many parts. Please help me get my session back. Please!

wow...I've never heard of that before. If the actual sesion file is corupt and cannot open the wavs..I think your pretty much screwed..Unless you piece the whole thing together..(pain in the ass.... )

We didn' buy the software. Damn! Please you guys got to have a better suggestion. The session is there but with no files contained in it.

Nah, it ain't panic stations yet.

Question: do the tracks for the session still exist when you look at the session in Windows Explorer, or whatever equivalent you're using? If the tracks are still on your hard disk, then it doesn't matter whether Cool recognizes them or not - you can, for instance, open a new session and then import those files into the new session.

Question: do you get a dialog that pops up which asks you to locate the tracks for the sessions?
