Hi, newbie question here, but please give me some advice.
I was working with an engineer tracking my instruments and vocals. The tracks are laid down.
He left his studio and moved out of town. He said that he would be able to continue mixing my stuff from his home studio.
The studio I was working has more sophisticated equipment, but as this guy said, a lot of it is digital anyway.
MY QUESTION -- is there a big difference between emailing him the files and having him mix the songs at home.... as opposed to going back into the studio, paying more $$ per hour, but being able to use their equipment.
The studio is called Mercy Sound (mercysound . com) and I don't know what kind of equipment the guy has.
Please Help! You can email me to dave_sandoval@hotmail.com... I really appreciate it!!!
