ok i have my drums sounding pretty good and its a nice rrom and a nice set of drum. i am just a begineer but would love if somebody told me any way i could make my drums sound more "tight" and more commercial. any help or replys at all would be greatly appreciated thnx

Rent a really amazing studio space and hear the difference. And also, tune the drums to sound good... a good set means nothing if it sounds like anus.
And to make them sound more tight, we need to know what you are currently using in your setup.

Tune them drums tighter than than Jennifer Lopez's hot pants if you want your drums to sound pro. A half-ass-tuned set of drums is going to sound average no matter how you mic, EQ, compress, discombobulate or topographically transform the recording. :)
