Please help!!

Hi guys, im in need of some quick help with my set up! I have a gig in 2 weeks in which i have to play for around 20 minutes, and i havent even started on anything yet!!!
Ok, Basically im having trouble with my Soundcard (M Audio Delta 1010LT) And my monitors (M Audio BX5).
I have the sound card fitted into my mac, and all the connections are phono, in the back of the monitors there are 2 types of connections. XLR and TRS (tip ring sleeve), i purchased a double lead with 2 jacks on one end, and 2 phono connectors on the other (as recommended by 2 music companies i contacted) I have them all plugged in and turned on (and yes, the volume is turned up!). I have installed all the latest drivers, everything is set up, its just not working?
Please please please if someone knows how to get this sorted it will be so much appreciated!!!

troubleshooting....
first thing i would do is make sure you have sound coming out of the sound card. to test....take stereo out from delta into line in of a home hi fi receiver, and plug some headphones into the receiver.
if you hear your music..then you know the sound card is good.
therefor its probably the cables connecting the sound card to your monitors.
tell me what happens, and i'll comment further.

Also open up the Delta Control Panel & make sure you have signal in the output metres, and make sure you connect the right outputs to your speakers.

Oh yeah and make sure you've selected Monitor mixer
