HI;
I am still having trouble with my TASCAM 424. It drags and then speeds up. It don't matter what kind of tape, or what length the tape it. It does it on record, as well as play. It even does it on previously recorded taped.
Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME

Look at the capstan. If it is worn, the tape will do this. It also could be a slipping capstan belt.
