Please help me out here

I am a Hip Hop Dj and I need a decent sound card to make my recording good. Right now I have a sound blaster live platinum. I wanted to upgrade to an Audiophile2496. Does the recording quality between the two make a big difference? should I buy the audiophile? Cause I am recording from my mixer to my soundcard. The only thing I can think of that can help out is that the audiophile records at 24 bits and 4800khz. Please help me out on a decision. I just want to make the most out of my mix. Thanx in advance.

The biggest differences from the SB Live and the Audiophile are the quality of the converters and the 24bit 96khz (though 24bit 48khz is the max id record at).....

it will make a pretty decent difference, well worth the $$$...of course the quality of your final product will depend on the quality of the sources you are recording in the first place and how you deal with (record, mix, master) them......
