I just bought the Tascam Neo 24 track recording workstation. I am already frustrated and tired. I have read and researched for hours online about using the iternal effects for more than one track...3 hrs later, Still not a clue. My problem is as soon as I record a track with my desired effect and go to record another track with another effect, It simply loses the first effect on the first track and reverts to dry. Now I have read all the advice on "Bouncing" and adding your effects when you master the song, But is there really no easy way to just add an effect, record...and that be that? I previously owned an older Tascam Recorder and I just sent the effect to the track, recorded and moved on to the next. Is there really no easy way to do this on my new Neo? PLEASE help!!! I am so excited to have my new Tascam and to start recording but this is just driving me CRAZY! PLEASE HELP! :)

It's all in how you assign the signal chain. If you want to record or print the effects you break the input assignment to a channel> assign the input to the multi effect and tweak as desired> assign the multi to a channel to record and arm the track to record> and then rock out.

If you assign the input to the track and then the efx it will not print.
