Hey guys I have a question.
I have a Us-428 and in using Cubase LE.
I have everything hooked up but have one problem.
I can't get a signal for my mic!
Are there settings on Cubase I need to adjust for the mic to work????
Please help me.
Thank u.

Have you armed your tracks?
Also, It has no phantom power.
You'll have to use dynamic mics or buy a power source.

Okay
I have a condenser mic but it doesn't have a power source because I usually just plug it to the computer.

Well if you really want to use the Tascam as an audio interface as well as a control surface, you'll have to power your condensers or switch mics.
I bought a nice Art Phantom Power unit when I was starting out a couple of years ago.
You can easily pick them up in your local music shop.
It works great and I could Google it for you but in all honesty, you'd be better upgrading your interface but DON"T THROW OUT THE TASCAM.
Looks like a nice wee machine.

Thank u so much
I thought I was doin something wrong
I'm gonna go buy that power supply.
