I just got a tascam DA-30 DAT recorder and did this tune. Tis the season to be jolly. I am talking to myself about not driving drunk. I ran a AT 3050 mic for vocals, MXL V57 on guitar, and core sounds binaural stereo mic on room sound, into a berihnger mixer to the dat. I am not real happy with it, but what the heck, I have only had if for an hour. Feed back to make it better welcomed. Walter
Your field recordings are getting better with the infusion of gear.
This sounds sweet thru my monitors. I t doesn't have the harshness of a lot of the 1 mic recordings you have made.
That vocal mic sure sounds sweet on you and the harp.
The guitar sounded sweet thru the mxl 57 too.

Thanks hevy. I did a bunch more and have them under TASCAM DA 30 DAT RECORDINGS ALBUM. I like the sound of this over the minidisc. My friend is loaning me an Akai GX-630D with the Glass Xtal ferrite heads and direct drive motors to play with. I guess I am going to be a tape head. Walter
