Although Electronica is not my bag by a mile, I found the recording quality to be good and enjoyable. The sounds you used seem of high quality, and are mixed well.

Sorry for the lame response, it is hard to review stuff you don't normally listen to.

Not too bad at all. How do you write electronic music? What's the process? I've heard some of it before that was just seemingly random and without direction. This wasn't anything like that.

What the process eh?

Well I usually write a basic drum pattern, then start selecting the synth/sample sounds that I want. After that I try and write a few melodies that complement eachother, then write a bass part that fits.
Then go back to the drums and tinker with them until I'm satisfied they fit.
Then play about with an arrangement, add fx/eq until I'm happy with the mix.

It's easier if i have an idea before i begin but a lot of the time i write there and then while im at the keyboard.
It's a lot of fun
I notice you say that some electronic music has no direction - that is something I really look to avoid. I'll always try to have a structure of some kind.
