Playing and recording with one Soundcard at the same time?

What type/brand of soundcard do I need to be able to play rhythem loops from the computer, go out to a mackie 1402vlz to mix with the rest of the band and then go back into the same computer so that I can record the live mix? How much is this going to cost?

Pretty much any 20$ soundcard... in the volume control, uncheck the line-in box in playback controls. You just have to make sure that whatever is being recorded doesn't get played back; this shouldn't be a problem with most sound cards.
