So far, I really like the ride cymbal. It's got a note range superior to any other cymbal I ever heard. There is a 4 note spread between the rim and the bell. I'm learning how to actually locate the note changes. That's my first improvement suggestion...imbed a graphic image into the plastic where the notes change. Like frets on a guitar. There are 3 aluminum rivets mounted at different heights in the cymbal,,,they cover 3 different notes. The sustain out towards the edge is mamoth. Even at the bell, the sustain is a much longer duration then my normal Zyldjians. They're different but contolable.

Thats the damndest thing Ive ever heard....how does plastic duplicate brass ?? it seems impossible.

Okay.........I'm gonna reserve judgement until I've heard them.

But it just sounds too weird for words.

Who knows? In a couple of years we may all be playing them, or maybe hating them and laughing at them.

So how do we get to hear what they sound like? Do they break easily?
If they do break, can you fix them with airplane model glue?:D
Do Barbie and Ken have a set of them in their "Dream House Band"? (I'm sorry...I'll stop now.....but you had to expect at least SOME wise-ass joking about it.;) )

Is it a very different sound? Will it be for effects, or is this trying to create something that will be in place of our "precious metal"?

It just sounds TOO WEIRD an idea, but like I said, I'll not make any judgements until I've heard what they sound like and how they act.

I really love my metal though.

More info please.

I asked about some Sound Samples but I guess its going to be a little while longer. This was started less than 30 days ago so its stiill in its Infancy. Im curious on how they will sound. I doubt if they will replace Metal but who knows.
If I get any samples Ill post them.
