Pitch corrector

Dos anyone have a preference on software pitch correctors? My band used one in the studio, I believe it was "Antares' Auto Tune" but I'm not positive. The complaint I have is that it ended up being a very audible change. You can hear the notes bending...almost like a warped cassette tape. Really, it wasn't as bad as I'm making it out to be. Hopefully someone out here has had more experience than I have with these things.

You may have had the Retune and Tracking sliders up too high. I usually have both of them on 40. Also make sure you've selected the correct Key signature.

Graphical mode is useful for getting more accurate pitch correction but is a bit more difficult to use.
