hey yall

i just recorded my first song, i used mp3.com to record it, it is bluegrass with a bit of blues and rocky stuff

it dont sound too bad but i cant get it sounding completely right yall, and should i add some vocals

also how do i get rid of the noise at the beginning

thanks for yalls comments

btw i am thinking about making the intro and outro more powerful by adding horse gallops and ocean waves but how would i do that live, play a tape?

its called horse of course because it sonds like a horse doing gallops

I hardly know what to say...................
first off----you need to get rid of all the dead-air with you just sitting and moving things around.
Secondly.....you need to get the mic closer to your instrument so we can hear it.
Thirdly.....you need to spend some time working on your chops..... get that performance level up a couple of notches........
Try these things and I'll watch for a future effort. ;)

How are you recording? I think you can pry some more performance out of what you have.

Dang you'ins.

You guys done scared her off. She went and pulled here song. Dang you'ins.

Shucks man, we didn't mean to do that.

It was just constructive critisism.

Actually I thought I was fairly constructive, gee........now I feel bad.

Those charts sure dont reflect quality.Waldo will be the first to tell you that.It happens when people spam multiple boards with their tune....thats all.....the NWR charts have no signifigance whatsoever.None.

Was the horse playing along with you?Oh no,I think Im having a flashback.......

I was thinkin that added backmasking of a horse walking backwards would bring out some of the enviromental quality.

polc polc polc polc polc polc
