Yes it could be a faulty ground or a ground Loop that is acting as an antennae and Picking up the radio....

You might looking onto getting a couple ferrite Chokes and wrap them arround your cables which will Lower or eliminate the Interferance but it would be best to solve the source of the problem......

That is strange because ballanced and shielded cables are supposed to be Imune from Interferance, unless the problem is actually with the hardware you are useing which I suspect is the problem, You should maybe open up the DPS and see if there are any loose ground wires or if any of the Wires on the XLR inputs are Loose....

well good luck

Lets see here, dyanimite, blasting caps, blasting cord, 1 cellphone, ya that would eliminate the broadcast towers, the source of my problems, :D :D :D :D :D but would they let me still have my studio in jail????

Or did you mean something else ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) . LOL.

I did try out my ohm meter on the two ground pins of the DPS lines downstairs and got a reading of 3~ ohms....so they are atleast connected to each other somehow.

One of the problems or maybe one of the problems with the DPSII is the dual inputs one front one back for each channel. If they are running the grounds for the mic inputs thru the PCBs before grounding, that could be a sign of bad design, but maybe not my problem what so ever. And as far as connecting the overall drain wires together downstairs, the overall drain wires upstairs aren't connected to anything, so I find connecting them together downstairs and fixing the problem wierd.

Unless the problem returns or something else crops up in relation to what I have done so far, I ain't touching nothing, I will just count this as a lucky fix.
