Hi, just got to hear Funny How the Mind Grows and Revolver from All of Me, and Philboyd's Moonlight Motor Inn, DJ Blues, Old Glory and the Osama Waltz.
Joe, nice work, I think BPF may have nailed it earlier but (at least with revolver) the vocal + effect does not sit right with the guitar. Personally I would go the other way and use a natural vocal instead of a digital on this particular track, I also have a particualr soft spot for doubled guitar tracks at say L30 and R30 in the pan which I think would 'fill it out'. Unfortunately mp3isation seems to (for me anyway) have muffled funny how the minds grows, but I got the feeling the distorted guitars are too far back in the mix especially in the section around 1:00 (and in other sections where these guitars are used).
Philboyd I like your laid song & lyric style... I'll email you my dj blues 2001 club dub remix..! I can't really fault your mix, the only thing I might do would be to add a touch of reverb to the vocal and, go on, hate me for saying this, but I'd love to hear a couple of quirky vocal harmonies or backing vocals in there too. Dj Blues is my favorite
Anyway that's just my dumb opinion
Cheers
Rich
