Phased Tracks

I was working on a five audio/one midi track project when I realized each of the tracks was phasing out, slowly and sweeping across all tracks.

I had previously been messing around with the session drummer and had added measures to the pattern and re-applied the midi-effect to the track.

Anyone have a clue as to what's going on?

Sounds kind of cool on the vocals but not everything!

Hmmm.. this can happen if you, for example, record a MIDI part to an audio part, and then play back the audio track and the original MIDI track...

... or if you accidentally record stuff that's already recorded along with the desired source for a new track (commonly called bleedover).

If you solo your audio tracks one by one you can tell if you've got tracks that are truly separate or not.
