hehe i usually provide as comprehensive feedback as possible...

but it really seems like you know what you are doing. you even did a good job on what I NEVER like, which is programmed drums. my one thing I would honestly change in that respect is cut down some of the lower mids in the snare that make it really boomy - the BIG sound you have FITS but I feel like a little alteration to make it more believable would work well... thats what I can say there outside the realm of "get some real drums and it would be perfect.

There is something after a few listens though... there is like a synth or underlying something or other that goes on for a lot of the song that sounds like a backup instrument more than a main melody thing that makes a "chhh" sound at some points. if thats a synth I hear then the tone of it could be brought up some and slide the high end of the eq on it to the range the high end of the guitar covers so that they "interlock" as I call it. If you dont wish to do that, cut out that frequency similarly (my recommendations for what to do with it anyway....to me it feels like they are clashing a bit when they -could- work in a symbiotic kind of way, if you will.

I really enjoy how you use your pinch harmonics, I don't hear it that way very often.... what kind of gear are you doing for guitar?

The bass works with the tune, but I'd enjoy hearing more of it if it is worth hearing more of. right now it's a little low, but if it's sampled or whatnot and sounds bad brought higher in the mix it's -probably= cool where it is. the case here is if there were more bass heard the already big sound you have would be HUGE.

I love the persian aspect here it's actually quite amazing and well written. This inspires me to put synths in my next metal joint. I suppose it also inspires me to pick a genre of world music I like, one of which has always been middle eastern music (one electronica artist ive listened to since before i played any instrument was muslimgauze), take that genre and build something off of it and make it my own just like you have. This is great, better than metallica's "wherever I may roam" if I could be so bold. which would bring me back to the "real drums" thing... but as it is, I could see this song in a movie sequence or maybe a serious video game or something.. kudos on this, it's art.

Good combination with some less common instrumental sounds. I'd prefer the mix with a whole lot less compression/limiting on it.

This is pretty awesome. It's a little mid-heavy but I love the eastern influence and always have in metal music. Bands like Kamelot and Opeth have used it to nice effect.
The mix is decent aside from the slight nasal quality due to the mid balance.

Sounds good to me. Guitars are nice and clear. Drums are clear. There is something odd about the crashes though, they seem to break up or distort. Maybe compression on them?
