I have a song that I want to cut 1 bar out of a solo section. Is there anyway to perform a "Cut" across more than one track at a time? Im going to cut that bar out of all of the tracks but I want to make sure that the cut is in the exact same place on all of them. I would just mix them down and then do the cut but I can't due to reasons that are just too long to type out and explain.
Also is there anyway to add "space" at the beginning of a session. Or slide all of the tracks over a little bit without them becoming unaligned?

thanks in advance......btw...using AA 1.5

The only way I've done was to cut each track at exactly the same point...I inserted an entire chorus after the break. It was tedious but it's invisible now.

Using CEP 2.1 you can select multiple tracks and cut them all at once in the same place, if you place the cursor at the cut point while selecting the first track, just press and hold down the Ctrl key while selecting the other tracks and the cursor won't move, after doing the split, select them all again and drag them all together, you can use the same method to drag everything a little bit to the right if you want to add some space at the beginning.

I would assume that Adobe didn't take this capability out.

:)

Thanks, Strryder. Hopefully I won't need to know that for a long time!

thanks guys. I got both things going without any problems.
