perfect audio card for X2 system

Hi,

You might have seen my thread about problems with aardvark DP and AMD x2 3800Mhz (Dual Core) system. Nothing helps and because I want to stay with AMD - the overall system works great especially the MB Gigabyte K8NS 939 Ultra, I decided to change the soundcard.

The DP has really good ADDA converters so I am looking for sth wich not worse ones. I need of course a card which runs on X2 systems under XP SP2.

What is your expercience on this? What card would you recommend? Maybe there are some reps of manufactures here who would take the floor ...

I don't know what x2 is but what about something like a Delta44 if you want pci, or a Firebox if you want firewire
