Its all a matter of preference. Who cares about Futuremark scores and 3DMark scores... if it runs the way you want it to, then it's good enough.

You might want to keep an eye for the fancy ePCI motherboards and new audio cards that might be supporting it.

I'm using an ASUS P5WD2 Premium motherboard which has the Intel 955X Express / Intel ICH7R chipsets on board and takes socket 775 CPU's
