Does anybody own this amp?

I've been searching for a decent amp lately - seen and heard some digital and some tube amps and I now think that a nice tube would shurely produce that sound that I need 90% of the time BUT since I like to have the possibility of switching between dozens of different sounds if I have to and I DO hate external effects (they kill a lot of your tube sound anyway) I now know that I have to go for a digital amp.

So which one? I first tested the Line6 Flextone. Big "Mogelpackung" as we would say in german-speaking europe... which means "fooling-package" ;-). 4 programmable channels and very "frozen" effect (there's a mix knob - that's all). ok, it's 12 channels (wow... quite a lot for a digital amp, ho-ho-ho) if you buy that over-expensive floor-board. the sounds of the flextone are quite nice - as you would hear from a cd. but - as good homerecorders - we know, that an amp in real doesn't sound the way it sounds on cd... so the flextone was definitely not gonna be the amp I'd buy.

Then I tested that yamaha digital thingie... I'd say better than the flextone for about the same money but you'd have to buy an expensive floorboard too. but at least you would have a hundred program-spaces even without the footcontroller.
What I really don't like about the yamaha are those 'motorized' knobs which get turned into the positions of the preset you choose... hm... I bet that's the first thing that gets broke.

Although I once thought I didn't want to spend that much (I even considered to take the line6 spider), I tested a Line6 AX2. ok, that's an amp I'd say! 128 programmable channels, fully adjustable effects and a nice EQ (which is worth a lot, I think).
not really expensive for what you get but quite expensive for me... and that damn floorboard isn't included again. but I thought I would get along without it for a while.

Finally I really wanted to buy that AX2 until I saw the peavey transfex pro. advantage: costs less than the ax2 and that damn footcontroller is included (yeah!!!). disadvantage: no bunch of amp-copies... (but who wants to copy anyway?) and that terrible hum I recognized while going distorted and not playing (even with the guitar turned down).
I guess the peavey really has a nice tube(like)-sound even in the clean mode and the effects and the different eq's are quite nice - at least they please ME.

but that damn hum... ok, there's a gate - but I don't like those things.
so you peavey-users (if there's any). is this normal or was that amp damaged?
what do you guys think of that peavey... or digital amps in general?
