peavey nitrobass/line out

Yeah, it's true.
I have recently recorded a bass through a peavey TNT:
-i take the signal from the line out
-and i miced the amp with e-602
Finally, I have mixed the both...
I don't have DI box yet, so...I don't have many choices...
Try it, and you will hear if you like it.
 
It worked very good . I recorded drums guitar and bass in 10X10 room. So i wanted to cut as much "Bleed" as possible. And direct out into my mixer gave a decent sound, i liked it better than a 57 on the cab.
