I'm not a guitarist,...and I recieved this on a payment.
I cannot justify keeping it,...unless just to have in the studio, when someone
comes over...
It puts out an excellent clean, warm, tube sound.
But if you're looking for high gain,...You'll need a distortion, or overdive pedal in front of it.
The tubes in it, sound decent,..but I'm sure it would reach it's full potential with some new ones.
This amp is F**kin' LOUD!!!
Probably one the loudest, I've heard.
My guitarist can crank his 5150 on 8 or 9, and this thing overpowers it on
4 or 5!!! Seriously!!!

Well, darn. I was banking on all the hate some folks have kicking in, resulting in a rash of "Why are you trying to sell that Peavey POS?" post, and thus the price dropping precipitously...

Funny thing is,..It's probably the best piece of gear Peavey ever made.
I don't even play guitar, and had a hard time gettin' rid of it.
It's the LOUDEST amp I've ever heard. (didn't say the best)..the loudest.
Had it fired up next to a Dual Recto, Triple Recto, 5150, Marshall JCM900, and a Line 6 Spider...and the only one that came close in volume is the
Line 6, which in my opinion is junk. I hate modeling amps. (preset shit)
I got more than it was anticipated, so I'm happy.
Now, I can put that $ towards a Roland SH-7.
Somethin' that will be of more use in my home studio.
