Yeah, I didn't read it all the way though, but I was looking at the Sonar forum, seeing as that's what I use, and found a good thread on building a DAW (that has a some BS about Intel or AMD), but has a lot of good info expecially about pci-e: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=620936
