T TravisK New member Jun 6, 2005 #5 marshall tube amps are PERFECT for punk rock. (JCM 900/2000) but it sounds like you are on a budget--check ebay for the yamaha t series http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...8421542&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW#ebayphotohosting that's a 50 watt version (plenty for a cab). they are designed by soldano after the SLO series and sound amazing. (we use the 100watt version in our studio through a mesa cab)
