ive read review where the plug the vox pathfinder 15 watt into cabinet and its really loud.
Would this be gig worthy for a pop punk band?

mic it and run it through the PA. It won't hold up to a drummer. I owned one for a practice amp for a while.

i dont think you should buy the pathfinder for punk
its more of a classic sounding distortion

marshall tube amps are PERFECT for punk rock. (JCM 900/2000)
but it sounds like you are on a budget--check ebay for the yamaha t series

that's a 50 watt version (plenty for a cab).
they are designed by soldano after the SLO series and sound amazing. (we use the 100watt version in our studio through a mesa cab)
