ass!!!! is what i am hearing.( in the go0d sense) Low end ass!!!!! it really add's, toki!!!!! lovin it! and i already love the song. Are ya'll working on a "new" collab for this?? i hope so!!
I'd love to have a totally "finished " version!!!!!!! For my listening pleasure.

Yeah that's a perfect bass sound. It's a nice song too.

participant I think you realize that a better vocal track would really help. Some things I'd suggest... A nice reverb, maybe a large room, would help. But just a hint of it, more than that would be bad.

There's a few spots where the pitch is close to being off. Some of the words sort of "land with a thud." Work with different vocal delivery styles (e.g., tense up throat and see what it sounds like).

There are a couple of spoken words. That didn't seem to work IMO. Not sure about the "sa ya ya ya ya row" stuff either.

Keep honing this. I think it will turn out real nice.

Thanks d00d Don't want to step on Toki's thread, but I've been working on the vocs for this. I uploaded another version the other night to my own page (without Toki's wonderful additions!!) and guess what? Better vocs, and CATHEDRAL REVERB... JUST A HINT... so I guess we were on the same page, eh? Note: These vocals are only 90% there... still some bumpyness, but much better (I hope)... (if ya REAAAALY wanna check it out, click the www button under my post... but it's the "unfinished" version...)

[EDIT -- then again... I just listened to that version... wow... it still sucks... lmao!! some better intonation, but some timing problems and much clipping.. back to the drawring... er... singing board ]

The "spoken" words will actually be whispered, and echoed several times (in rhythm)... at least that's my idea on them.

And ya <---(SLuiCe word )... the "so ya yayayaya orrow" stuff was just what I came up with on the spot; I got used to it, and it kinda stuck. Maybe I'll pull it out... or lessen it some.

I'll send Toki some .wav files thru messenger, or something tomorrow (if he's up to it)...

Tokes should probably respond to the rest of you guys, but hey thanks. Yes, I'm off tomorrow (FINALLY )... was planning on tracking new guitar/vocs for this song Sunday, but then that thing happened (details in the "am I an a--hole?" thread... cave)
