I was listening to Parliament as I was driving yesterday. I noticed a lot of people were looking at me funny, and I could not figure out why. All of a sudden, I realized it was because I was dancing in my seat. It reminded me of something I once read, by Steve Cropper. He was talking about working with Otis Reading. Apparently, Otis knew an arrangement, or mix, or whatever, was done only when his shoulders wouldn't stop moving.

This seemed to me like a good thing for us all to remember.

`Cause we all want the funk.

Hi there. I was mixing/mastering, comparing my sound with other people's music, u know, to be on the right track.. It stucked me. The best sounding record of all-time is Quincy's Billie Jean that he gave to Jacko. What do you think? I was comparing it with 'Everybody everbody' by Black Box, and, I thought Black Box sounded ok, it was such an back then.. Man, it sucks if u compare to Billie Jean.. The snare and reverb is so fantastic.. With peaks all the way through unless I am checking a re-master..

Billie Jean sounds like it was mastered in heaven.
