Hey, I got A parker nitefly for christmas. It's amazing, It has the greatest feel so i can shread all over the fretboard...( i like picking fast and doing that stuff). It has a brdige pickup (or active pickups) which gives it a unbelivable acustic sound...which is very good and elinates the seperate acustic guitar recordings. IMO, i like it better then any gibson or epiphone because the brdige on parker is straight, which makes it easier to do more things..as a gibson or epiphone has the strings climb up the bridge and slant down...which gives me less capabilities. I am very proud in my purchase of a Parker Nitefly. Does any one else have one..theyre great gutiars!!!

As goofy as those things look, i don't think i've played a guitar with cooler features.

man those things play great. I'm jealous.

Yeah, I have played a couple of them. Horribly ugly in my opinion, but great guitars. The stainless frets on those are what inspired me to do a refret of my main guitar with stainless fretwire.
By the way, the pick-up you speak of is called a piezo pickup.
